Latest Blog Post on My Postdoctoral Work #3
Here is my third blog post on my postdoctoral work. I first briefly introduce my work on energy poverty. Then, for a more specific focus on data curation, I talk about how I dealt with a tricky compressed directory structure of a big energy consumption dataset using Python.
If you’re looking for a Python code snippet to unzip a two-level zipped directory, I made it available in this GitHub repository for public use under MIT. Hit me up if you have any questions.
If you haven’t, check out my two previous posts in this blog series:
- CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship in Energy Social Science Data Curation Series Part I: Efficiently Tracking Scholarly Output
- CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship in Energy Social Science Data Curation Series Part II: Creating an Interactive Dashboard for Open Scholarship
I have one final post coming this summer.
